How to Make a LinkedIn Logo Glow Brighter Than White

To make a LinkedIn logo glow brighter than page white, convert the artwork to a JPEG carrying a Rec.2100 PQ HDR color profile, then upload that file directly without cropping, filtering, or re-saving it. HDR displays render its brightest details above ordinary interface white.

What creates the glow

The glow is not a painted blur, animation, or CSS effect. It comes from the image signal. A normal sRGB image treats white as the top of its display range. A PQ-encoded HDR image can describe a highlight above ordinary interface white, so a compatible screen can emit more light for those pixels.

The image still needs carefully remapped pixels. Attaching an HDR profile to an unchanged SDR file can lift the background, reveal compression noise, or make the fallback look dirty. Glowhite remaps the image before embedding and verifying the profile.

The reliable workflow

Start with a square, high-contrast source. Upload it to Glowhite, choose a moderate peak such as 1,000 nits, and keep highlight-only mode on. Download the generated JPEG and move that exact file to LinkedIn.
