Viewers need an HDR-capable display, HDR enabled, and a color-managed browser or app. Everyone else receives a usable tone-mapped image.
White logos, wordmarks, and bold high-contrast graphics show the clearest lift. Smooth photo gradients may reveal 8-bit banding.
Move the exported JPEG itself into the destination whenever you can. Screenshots and edits often flatten the signal before anyone gets a chance to see it.
